Warehouse Associate / Reach Truck OperatorPay Rate: $20.00 per hourSchedule:Monday through Friday7:00 AM - 3:30 PM30-minute unpaid lunchTwo paid 15-minute breaksOccasional overtime available, though not frequentPosition OverviewWe are seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Associate / Reach Truck Operator to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals with warehouse experience who are comfortable operating a Reach Truck, as approximately 85% of the workday will be spent on Reach Truck operations. The remaining responsibilities include receiving, picking, loading, unloading, and general warehouse support.Work Environment: Dry warehouse environmentKey ResponsibilitiesReceiving & InventoryReceive and unload incoming deliveries.Inspect shipments for damage, shortages, or discrepancies.Compare received products against packing slips, purchase orders, and receiving schedules.Report damages, shortages, or errors to the appropriate department.Sort, label, organize, and store inventory in designated warehouse locations.Verify product quality, packaging, and compliance with vendor requirements.Perform replenishment activities by moving merchandise from reserve locations to pick slots.Warehouse OperationsAccurately pick and select merchandise according to order requirements.Confirm correct quantities and units of measure.Load merchandise onto outbound trucks.Repack loose merchandise for shipping and delivery.Shrink-wrap pallets and merchandise as needed.Identify and report slotting, storage, and put-away issues.Maintain warehouse cleanliness and perform housekeeping duties.Equipment OperationSafely operate a Reach Truck on a daily basis.Conduct daily equipment inspections, including: Reach Trucks, Forklifts, Clamp equipmentFollow warehouse safety procedures and operating standards.QualificationsRequiredExperience operating a Reach Truck.Previous warehouse experience.Reliable transportation and strong attendance record.Ability to lift, move, and handle warehouse materials safely.Willingness to perform a variety of warehouse tasks in a team-oriented environment.PreferredReceiving experience.Forklift experience.Inventory or replenishment experience.Top Skills for SuccessReach Truck operationPicking and warehouse order fulfillmentDependability and strong work ethicWarehouse receiving and inventory handlingAttention to detail and accuracyExperience Level0-3 years of warehouse experience preferred.Experience receiving, storing, picking, packing, shipping, and moving merchandise is beneficial.Ability to work under general supervision while maintaining productivity and accuracy.
