Electrical Engineer II

Job Description

Electrical Engineer IIJoin our dynamic manufacturing team as an Electrical Controls Specialist! Be part of an innovative environment where you'll drive continuous improvement initiatives to achieve operational excellence.What will you do:Controls/Technical support for various shift production including fabrication, metal finishing, and assembly, through troubleshooting and determining root causes for downtime events.Production barrier identification and elimination for various levels of automation including stamping presses, welders, conveyors, automated assembly, and robotics.Update, modify, and continuously improve existing controls systems including robotics, ladder logic programs, relay logic, electrical distribution, motor controls, operator interface, pneumatic/hydraulic distributionCoordinate with production and maintenance on existing machine control modifications or installationsCreate, maintain and keep current all documentation: electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics; panel layouts; PLC, operator display, operator interface, and robot programs.Implement and maintain data collection system for shop floor production equipmentWhat will make you successful:Minimum 2 Year College Degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology or related field2-5 years of experience in the Electrical fieldOpen to working 2nd shift and weekendsExperience with Electrical, Pneumatic, and Hydraulic SystemsStrong PLC programming skillsElectrical/Mechanical CAD ExperienceMotion Control ExperienceRobot programming ExperienceMachine Vision ExperienceAbility to prepare, read and interpret written reports, instructions, procedures and guidelinesAbility to read and interpret blueprints and schematicsWhat's in it for me?Gain hands-on experience with advanced manufacturing technologies and systemsAccess to technical training, certifications, and professional development opportunitiesWork in a collaborative environment that prioritizes safety, quality, and innovationBuild a rewarding career with clear growth potential in engineering and operationsMust-Have:Engineering Degree – Minimum 2-year degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related field.2–5 years of Electrical/Controls Engineering experience.Strong PLC programming skills, including ladder logic.Experience with electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.Ability to troubleshoot controls/automation systems and perform root-cause analysis.Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics.
