System Validation Engineer

System Validation EngineerSupermicro Computer is currently looking for a talented System Validation Engineer to partner with the Hardware Designing team to validate in-house servers and workstation platforms, troubleshoot and detect any problem of the current validation project. The candidate will be responsible for providing technical specifications and building testing configurations to verify systems' stability and reliability. In this position, you will have the opportunity to work with both internal engineering and product teams on various projects.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Perform motherboard, server and rack level system application validation testingConduct functional and compatibility testing on various operating systems such as Linux and WindowsPerform hardware and rack level functional validation testingPerform server configuration and system performance testingReport hardware and software quality assurance issues into bug tracking systemsDuplicate customers issue if neededWork with customers and product management to understand production use of the product and understand advanced functionality requirementsFamiliar for HPC, data center, networking architecture, system mechanics, etc.Expert technical knowledge of designing and implementing Server systemFamiliar with scientific / enterprise grade GPU testing and benchmarksMust be able to multi-task and meet demanding target datesQualifications:Bachelor or Master's degree in CS, CE, EE or similar2+ years of working experience in system or component testingFamiliar for HPC, data center, networking architecture, system mechanics, etc.Strong technical knowledge of server system architecture and implementationBenchmarking experienceSalary Range $100,000 - $113,000. The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role.
