Java Developer (Microservices)

Job OverviewPay Range: $45.00hr - $50.00hrRequirement/Must Have10–12 years of experience in software development.Strong proficiency in Java 17 and Spring Boot microservices development.Extensive experience with Java (8+).Extensive experience with J2EE.Extensive experience with JUnit.Extensive experience with REST & SOAP Web Services.Hands-on experience with Kafka.Experience working with Kubernetes.Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Jira.Experience with CI/CD and DevOps tools including GitHub, Jenkins, Urban Code Deploy, and Harness.Strong problem-solving and ownership mindset.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Experience leading technical design and delivery initiatives.ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and deliver scalable Java-based microservices using Spring Boot.Lead end-to-end engineering efforts from requirements analysis through deployment.Develop new microservices and enhance existing enterprise applications.Build and maintain RESTful and SOAP web services.Implement event-driven architectures using Kafka.Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.Support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation processes.Ensure code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and best engineering practices.Stay current with emerging technologies, frameworks, and modern architectural patterns.Nice to HaveCloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.).Exposure to React.js.Experience with modern architecture and engineering best practices.SkillsJava.Backend.Spring Boot.REST.CI/CD.Microservices.Kafka.Kubernetes.J2EE.JUnit.SOAP.GitHub.Jenkins.Urban Code Deploy.Harness.
