SHIFT SUPERVISOR# SHIFT SUPERVISORPhiladelphia, PA 19106## OverviewPosition TypeFull Time## DescriptionJob Purpose: - The Shift Supervisor at Cescaphe Event Group is responsible for overseeing the execution of events, ensuring high-quality service delivery, and maintaining operational efficiency during assigned shifts. The role requires strong leadership skills to manage staff effectively and ensure client satisfaction, while adhering to company standards and policies. Key Responsibilities: - Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff during events to ensure smooth operations and exceptional service. - Monitor event timelines and ensure that all services are executed according to client specifications and company standards. - Address and resolve any issues or emergencies that arise during events, maintaining professionalism and composure. - Collaborate with event planners and other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination. - Conduct pre-event briefings with staff to outline expectations and responsibilities. - Evaluate staff performance and provide feedback to improve service quality and efficiency. - Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during events. - Assist in training new staff members and provide ongoing support and guidance. - Maintain accurate records of event activities and staff performance for reporting purposes.## QualificationsRequired Education: - High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in hospitality management or a related field preferred. Required Experience: - Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality or events industry. - Proven track record of managing teams effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. - Experience in coordinating and executing large-scale events is highly desirable. Required Skills and Abilities: - Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff. - Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with keen attention to detail. - Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of interacting with clients, vendors, and team members effectively. - Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite. - Ability to problem-solve and make decisions quickly and efficiently. - Strong customer service orientation, with a focus on delivering exceptional client experiences. - Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules. #J-18808-Ljbffr
