Executive Director

the client is a nonprofit organization dedicated to increasing access to capital for entrepreneurs and businesses in local communities. Its mission connects financial resources with human, intellectual, and social capital to support thriving businesses and vibrant communities. the client works to strengthen the entrepreneurial ecosystem by developing, growing, and sustaining entrepreneurs and business owners, including individuals from women, people of color, immigrants, veterans, and other historically underserved communities. the client has established mission-driven programming that supports entrepreneurs through convening, navigation services, and collaboration with municipalities and public agencies to advance community economic development. It also provides fee-for-service consulting and technical assistance to public agencies and community partners, including initiatives that may support business retention, merchant association development, business improvement districts, and resource collaboratives. the client is also leveraging artificial intelligence to enhance internal operations and service delivery, supporting activities such as grant writing, market research, competitive analysis, and targeted outreach to help entrepreneurs identify and access funding opportunities. the client seeks a visionary, mission-driven Executive Director to lead the organization’s next chapter of growth and impact. The role is expected to be both strategic and hands-on, with strong communication and relationship-building skills to represent the organization across diverse stakeholders and to foster a collaborative, engaging organizational culture. The Executive Director will serve as a trusted partner to the Board of Directors by supporting strong governance and strategic alignment, and by helping recruit and engage board members who reflect the mission and future direction, while managing day-to-day operations through coordination among the board, staff, and community.
