Software Engineer and DeveloperWe are seeking a motivated Junior Software Developer to join our technology team supporting the development, integration, testing, and enhancement of software solutions for cyber, training, modeling and simulation, and emerging technology initiatives.You will have a foundation in computer science and software engineering. You'll develop applications using languages such as Java, Python, C++, C#, JavaScript, and React. This position is well suited for a candidate who is interested in expanding their software development skills while contributing to mission-focused technology solutions. The world can't wait.You Have:Experience with software developmentExperience with programming languages including Java, Python, C++, or C#Experience with development environments such as Visual Studio and Visual Studio CodeKnowledge of software engineering principles, data structures, algorithms, databases, operating systems, and computer networkingAbility to work effectively in a collaborative technical environmentTS/SCI clearance with a polygraphBachelor's degree in a technical field such as Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or CybersecurityNice If You Have:Experience developing RESTful APIs or database-driven applicationsExperience with MongoDB, React, Bash scripting, or Windows FormsExperience with software quality assurance and testingExperience developing software prototypes or applications through academic or independent projectsExperience in artificial intelligence, modeling and simulation, cyber training, or emerging technologiesKnowledge of cybersecurity concepts, network infrastructure, or cyber training environmentsPossession of strong written and verbal communication skillsClearance:Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.CompensationAt Booz Allen, we celebrate your contributions, provide you with opportunities and choices, and support your total well-being. The projected compensation range for this position is $52,900.00 to $108,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
