Software EngineerAs the Software Developer you will have the opportunity to quickly become an important part of our IT Applications team. You will be working on a variety of software components such as APIs, vendor integrations, web, and stand-alone applications, and any other development and analysis tasks necessary for the project.You will be working in an agile product team, contribute to daily standups, refinement meetings where you will discuss, and contribute to requirements set forth by the Product Owner, and work alongside other Developers and System Analysts.Apex Systems Client uses the latest application and database technologies and is constantly researching new developments in the industry. We persistently improve existing systems and integrate these technologies into the vision of one single IT solution -- connecting NI’s corporate web site, sales & marketing operations, financial systems, and many other worldwide departments.ResponsibilitiesServe as part of a highly skilled team, providing technical and business solutions to extend and enhance our corporate business applicationsPartner with IT Architects, Analysts, Engineers, and Product Owners to provide technical solutions. Collaborate with other development teams, infrastructure teams and business teams.Analyze, identify, research, and recommend technology and business solutions to meet business requirements and IT system standardsTake part in full software development life cycle, including automated test development, and operations of on-prem and cloud solutionsCreate Technical documentation for software products and solutionsAssist with management, prioritization, troubleshooting and escalation of issuesWork collaboratively with global application development teams located in the US, Europe, and AsiaRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science, or related fieldProficiency in multiple technologies such as:Object Oriented ProgrammingRelational Database experienceAPI design and development experienceWeb Framework experience such as Angular, React, etc.
