Cleanroom Assembler – Semiconductor ComponentsLocation: Garden Grove, CA 92841 Pay Rate: $20/hour Schedule: Monday–Friday, 5:00 AM–1:30 PM Hours: 40 hours per week Employment Type: W-2 Contract Industry: Semiconductor / Advanced ManufacturingPosition OverviewWe are seeking hands-on Cleanroom Assemblers to assemble, test, inspect, and package high-purity components used in the semiconductor industry.This position works in a controlled Class 5 and Class 7 cleanroom environment and requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and experience using hand tools and precision measuring equipment.Candidates with welding experience are encouraged to apply; however, welding experience is preferred, not required. The position requires at least one year of Class 5 or Class 7 cleanroom experience.Key ResponsibilitiesAssemble high-purity components according to established specifications and work instructions.Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, job orders, and assembly instructions.Follow proper gowning procedures and protocols for Class 5 and Class 7 cleanrooms.Use hand tools including screwdrivers, torque wrenches, and other assembly tools.Use calipers, micrometers, and precision measuring instruments to verify dimensional requirements.Perform air and water testing of completed components.Troubleshoot components that fail testing and perform necessary repairs.Clean, label, and package completed components according to specifications.Retrieve assembly and testing instructions using basic computer systems.Assist with identifying potential root causes when products are returned for quality issues.Maintain accurate documentation for warranty and non-warranty repairs.Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with 5S principles.Follow all safety, quality, and cleanroom procedures.Perform additional production and assembly duties as assigned.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent.Minimum 1 year of Class 5 or Class 7 cleanroom experience.Previous assembly, manufacturing, mechanical assembly, or related production experience.Ability to read and follow blueprints, schematics, job orders, and written work instructions.Mechanical aptitude and strong attention to detail.Experience using basic hand tools.Familiarity with calipers, micrometers, visual scopes, or similar measuring/inspection equipment.Basic computer skills.Ability to perform repetitive precision assembly work.Ability to work effectively as part of a team.Strong attendance and reliability.Ability to work overtime as needed.Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.Welding experience is a plus, but not required.
