Lead Data Platform Engineer

We're looking for a Lead Data Platform Engineer to play a critical role in designing, optimizing, and governing enterprise-scale data and analytics platforms. In this role, you'll provide technical leadership while helping shape the future of data infrastructure across cloud and analytics environments.Pay Rate Range: $65-70/HR on W2 ONLYResponsibilities:Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure and platform services across AWS, Snowflake, Tableau, MicroStrategy, Airflow, Datameer, and moreBuild and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure reliable, automated deploymentsDrive Infrastructure as Code (IaC) initiatives using Terraform and CloudFormationImprove platform reliability through monitoring, alerting, logging, and incident responseOptimize performance, scalability, security, and cloud spendPartner closely with Data Engineering, Analytics, and cross-functional teams to enable efficient data workflowsMentor engineers, establish platform standards, and provide technical leadership across the organizationRequired Qualifications:5+ years of Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or related experienceDeep expertise with Snowflake, Tableau, and MicroStrategy administration and supportStrong AWS knowledge, including EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, IAM, CloudWatch, and VPCHands-on experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and KubernetesExperience supporting analytics and data platforms, including Airflow and DatameerStrong scripting skills using Python, PySpark, Bash, or similar technologiesPassion for solving complex technical challenges and enabling data-driven decision-makingNice to Have:Experience with data warehouse technologies such as Snowflake or RedshiftKnowledge of cloud security, compliance, secrets management, and cost optimizationExposure to AI/ML platform deployments and MLOps practicesExperience working within retail, eCommerce, or consumer-focused environmentsIf you meet the required qualifications and are interested in this role, please apply today. The Solomon Page Distinction Solomon Page offers a comprehensive benefit program for hourly employees.
