Sterile Processing TechnicianRoseville Surgery Center is seeking a motivated PRN Sterile Processing Technician to join our team. Roseville Surgery Center is a fast paced ASC environment committed to producing the highest quality work and experience for patients and their families.Job SummaryThe Sterile Processing Technician cares for and maintains all surgical instrumentation and sets up supplies and instruments for surgery cases. This position will have a high focus on Central Sterile Processing and OR support, and will assist in PreOp and PACU as needed maintaining a clean and orderly patient care environment assisting nursing staff with appropriate patient care support. Consistently demonstrates the primary goal of efficiently providing surgical services that exceed customer expectations and improve clinical and financial operations.Monday-Friday work scheduleNO call requiredNO Nights, NO Weekends, NO Holiday work hoursStarting pay Range: $25 - $38 per/hour, depending on experienceRequired Skills:Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED requiredCompletion of Sterile Processing programCRCST or CSPDT certification requiredSterile Processing experience in medical settingExperience with all types of sterilizers.Knows operating room instrumentation.Organized in setting up operating room instrument tray.Understands operation of steam/ gravity sterilizer.Understands Sterrad sterilizers.Ability to prepare reports and keep records.Familiarity with medical terminology and departmental supply items is requiredAbility to quickly adapt to changing condition of the patient when neededMust be an excellent team player and have the ability to communicate with staff, patients and physiciansComputer skills requiredWe are part of a much larger team with United Surgical Partners International (USPI).
