Pay Rate: $15.45 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTime Thur 11:30 PM - 07:30 AM

Fri 11:30 PM - 07:30 AM

Sat 11:30 PM - 07:30 AM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or vendors at a government office location while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.

Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and applicable laws.

Monitor access points, verify visitor authorization as directed, and report unauthorized entry attempts or suspicious activity to appropriate personnel.

Prepare clear, accurate incident and patrol reports and maintain required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

At least one year of security-related experience is required.

A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.

Baton certification is preferred.

Handcuffing certification is preferred.

Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
