A leading automotive manufacturing facility producing high-quality vehicles and automotive components while utilizing advanced technology and efficient production processes.Elwood Staffing associates are eligible for a comprehensive and competitive benefits package plus an exclusive savings program, including:Medical/Vision/Dental/Rx plansHoliday PayTeladoc (online care)Referral Bonus IncentiveWeekly Pay401kAnd More!Warehouse Details:Temp-to-Hire position$ 20.75 / hourFull Time work availableWeekend work requiredFirst Shift (Monday through Friday)Warehouse Responsibilities:Operate a sit-down forklift safely and efficiently to move, load, unload, and stack materials as required.Perform general warehouse duties including, but not limited to, receiving incoming shipments, verifying contents, and accurately storing materials.Pick, pack, and prepare orders for outbound shipment, ensuring accuracy and quality control.Load and unload trucks and containers using appropriate equipment and techniques.Assist with inventory management, including cycle counting and maintaining organized stock locations.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following all company safety policies and procedures.Adhere to all operational guidelines and contribute to a productive team atmosphere.Warehouse Qualifications:The role requires physical stamina, including the ability to stand, walk, stoop, bend, twist, and reach for up to 8 hours per day.Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.Repetitive motion involving the hands, wrists, and shoulders is common.Proven experience operating a sit-down forklift is essential.Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution, or logistics environment preferred.Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately and efficiently.Strong commitment to safety regulations and procedures.Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.Reliable attendance and punctuality are critical.Applicant may be subject to a background check.
