Job Description

Hotel Lucile, Casetta's newest property, opens late summer 2026 in the heart of Silver Lake, Los Angeles. Housed in a landmark 1931 church, this 25-room boutique hotel blends preserved original details - stained glass, soaring wood beams, choir loft - with a restaurant, bar, rooftop, pool, and a rotating program of art and community events. We're building the opening team now and looking for people who want to help bring this space to life.

Position Overview: The night auditor is responsible for running all overnight duties at the Front Desk, responding to guest needs, special requests, and complaints, and alerts the appropriate manager as needed, assists other departments as needed, and prepares end-of-day reports.

Essential Functions: Process check-in/check-out and collect payments in compliance with cash handling, credit card processing and accounting policies and procedures.

Welcome guests upon their arrival and assign rooms.

Provide information about our hotel, available rooms, rates and amenities.

Respond to clients' complaints in a timely and professional manner.

Liaise with our housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms are clean, tidy and fully-furnished to accommodate guests' needs.

Confirm group reservations and arrange personalized services for VIP customers and event attendees, like wedding guests.

Anticipate and address guests' service needs.

Upsell additional facilities and services, when appropriate.

Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.

Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.

Maintains the cleanliness and neatness of the front desk area.

Assists guests in the selection and preparation of specialty coffee beverages and the purchase of beverages, and prepared food, like cookies, pastries and muffins.

Comply with health and safety regulations.

Taking inventory and replenishing items in display areas.

Summarizing each night's operations and listing any follow-up tasks for management.

Following End of Day procedures.

Posts room charges and taxes to guest accounts.

Must have complete knowledge of emergency procedures.

Balance the day’s charges, making corrections as necessary.
