Job Description

Warehouse AssociateLocation: Germantown, WI (LLC Support) - WarehouseAt Airgas, our trusted Warehouse Associates take ownership of moving material within a warehouse, while following and contributing to the facility work rules and while meeting or advancing the regular quality and safety standards. The normal duties may include the following:Efficient Material Handling: Supports the team's quality and efficiency goals by loading, unloading, and palletizing safety products with care.Shipment Integrity: Ensures the quality and care of incoming and outgoing shipments and orders to provide excellent service.Safety & Workspace Care: Maintains a clean and organized work area to support a safe environment for everyone and ensure compliance with safety regulations.Equipment Operation: Operates powered industrial trucks as needed to assist in daily warehouse flow.Collaborative Support: Willingly supports the team with various tasks as needed to ensure the smooth operation of the facility.Required Qualifications:Highschool Diploma or GED1+ year warehousing or similar experienceAbility to lift 50 lbs.Ability to push and or pull up to 75 lbs.Ability to stand/walk up to 10 hoursAbility to read and comprehend customers' orders, bills of lading, etc.Basic math skillsKnowledge or ability to learn computer software systemsPreferred Qualifications:Standup forkliftPallet JackCherry PickerWe care about and support our Airgas Families.
