Construction Manager

Job Description



Construction Manager

A growing residential construction and real estate development firm is seeking an experienced

Construction Manager

to oversee multiple residential projects throughout the Greater Los Angeles area. This individual will lead project execution from planning through completion while managing subcontractors, field teams, schedules, budgets, quality control, and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:




  • Manage multiple residential construction projects simultaneously.


  • Oversee subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, project staff, and field operations.


  • Develop and maintain project schedules to ensure on-time completion.


  • Coordinate daily job site activities and monitor project progress.


  • Review project budgets, estimates, material costs, and labor expenses.


  • Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.


  • Conduct site inspections and support permitting and inspection processes.


  • Lead project meetings and maintain accurate project documentation.


  • Drive process improvements and support the development of construction team best practices.




Qualifications:




  • 5+ years of residential construction project management experience.


  • Experience managing multiple projects, subcontractors, and construction teams.


  • Strong knowledge of California residential construction practices and building codes.


  • Proven experience with scheduling, budgeting, quality control, and project delivery.


  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.


  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software.


  • Valid California Driver's License and ability to travel between job sites.



  • Fluency in Mandarin Chinese is required.





Compensation:
