DevOps Engineer

Job Description

DevOps / Cloud EngineerWe are seeking an experienced DevOps / Cloud Engineer with strong expertise in AWS, Linux administration, networking, containerization, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and infrastructure automation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining reliable, scalable, secure, and automated cloud infrastructure and deployment of pipelines.Roles and Responsibilities:Design, implement, and maintain scalable and highly available AWS cloud infrastructure.Administer and troubleshoot Linux servers, networking, and cloud infrastructure.Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.Manage and support Kubernetes/EKS clusters and containerized workloads using Docker.Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Ansible, or similar automation tools.Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, deployments, and operational processes.Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and observability using Datadog, Splunk, AWS CloudWatch, Prometheus, or equivalent tools.Implement Descopes practices throughout the software development and deployment lifecycle.Integrate and manage security tools such as Snyk, SonarQube, vulnerability scanners, and secrets-management solutions.Perform security patching, vulnerability remediation, and configuration hardening.Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents, infrastructure issues, deployment failures, and performance problems.Participate in incident response, root-cause analysis, and preventive action planning.Improve system reliability, scalability, availability, and operational efficiency.Education & Experience:Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field.Relevant industry certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), or equivalent are preferred.3–7+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, or a related role.Hands-on experience with CI/CD platforms, particularly Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.Strong knowledge of Linux administration and networking concepts.
