Oracle Fusion Financials Configuration SpecialistS&P Global has recently announced the intent to separate our Mobility Segment into a standalone public company.This role is responsible for hands-on configuration, design, and go-live readiness of Oracle Fusion Financials as part of a spin-off ERP implementation. This role is GL-anchored but spans the full Oracle Financials footprint, owning the foundational financial architecture while providing functional coverage and oversight across AP, AR, Fixed Assets, and OTC workstreams.The role works closely with Finance leadership and business stakeholders to gather and synthesize requirements into functional design decisions, engaging the right people at the right time to ensure the configured solution is technically sound and audit-ready from Day 1.Key Responsibilities:General Ledger & Financial ArchitectureLead greenfield Chart of Accounts and financial architecture design, including ledger, legal entity, business unit, and accounting calendar structuresEstablish accounting flexfield standards (segments, hierarchies, value sets, validations), security rules, and cross-validation controlsDesign journal sources, categories, approvals (AME), and recurring entries; establish SOX-compliant journal and period-close controlsDefine and drive the end-to-end close sequence, with clear ownership, dependencies, and monitoringDeliver trial balance, core financial statements, and close reporting outputsSubledger Accounting (SLA) & Cross-Module CoordinationDesign and govern SLA rules across AP, AR, Fixed Assets, and integrated sources, defining accounting derivation logic for all transaction typesProvide functional coverage across AP, AR, FA, and OTC workstreams — configuring, reviewing, and validating module setups and raising the right questions with business stakeholdersServe as the connective layer between subledger workstreams and GL, ensuring consistent accounting treatment and clean subledger-to-GL reconciliationIntercompany & ConsolidationDesign and configure Oracle Fusion intercompany accounting and balancing, including elimination structures and intercompany reconciliation processesDefine GL data structures and integration requirements to OneStream or equivalent consolidation platformData Migration & CutoverOwn GL opening balance migration and coordinate subledger cutover and reconciliationDesign historical GL migration and data freeze policies; obtain auditor pre-clearance on opening balancesReporting & AnalyticsConfigure OTBI and standard GL reports; define GL data feed to Snowflake and support Power BI reportingSupport close reporting and financial statement outputs aligned to corporate and management reporting needsHypercare & Knowledge TransferAct as Core Financials SME during post-go-live hypercareDeliver end-user training and complete as-built documentationRequired Skills:Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field3–5 years of experience in ERP development, with 2+ years in Oracle Fusion Cloud2-3 full-cycle Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP implementations spanning GL and at least two other Financials modules (AP, AR, FA, or OTC)Hands?on experience with CoA design, SLA, intercompany, legal entities, AME, and period closeOracle Cloud Financials certificationSolid accounting foundation with the ability to engage knowledgeably with Controllers, auditors, and Finance leadership on GL design decisionsFamiliarity with SOX control requirementsFBDI experience; strong Excel and SQL skillsPreferred Qualifications:Oracle Accounting HubWorkiva integrationMulti-currency and revaluation configurationKyriba or Treasury integrationBlackLine/FloQast, Snowflake, Power BIExperience supporting spin-offs, carve-outs, or greenfield entity implementationsiPaaS integration requirements experience (MuleSoft/Boomi preferred)CPA or equivalent accounting qualificationIf you like wild growth and working with happy, enthusiastic over-achievers, you'll enjoy your career with us!It is the policy of Mobility to provide equal employment opportunity (EEO) to all persons regardless of age, color, national origin, citizenship status, physical or mental disability, race, religion, creed, gender, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity and/or expression, genetic information, marital status, status with regard to public assistance, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local law.
