CNC OperatorTraining Schedule: Will train on 1st shift for approximately 1–2 months to become familiar with our equipment, processes, quality requirements, and team. Upon successful completion of training, the position will transition to the 2nd shift schedule.Job Location: Yorba Linda, CAHours: 2:30pm-11:00pm Training 6:00am-2:30pmPay: $20 an hourThe CNC Operator is responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines to produce precision components according to specifications. The role requires technical skill, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of machining processes and quality standards. The operator plays a critical role in maintaining production flow and ensuring final products meet required tolerances and customer expectations.Key ResponsibilitiesMachine Operation & SetupOperate and monitor CNC machinery (e.g., Mills, lathes, Drills) for production runsAdjust machine settings and tool offsets as necessary to maintain part qualityPerform basic troubleshooting of machines and escalate technical issues when neededQuality & InspectionInspect finished parts using precision tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gaugesInterpret blueprints, schematics, and work instructions to verify part specificationsEnsure all parts produced meet strict dimensional and visual standardsMaintenance & DocumentationPerform routine machine maintenance and cleaning to ensure optimal operationAccurately complete work orders, inspection records, and production reportsFollow all safety procedures and report unsafe conditions immediatelyTeam CollaborationCommunicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding production statusParticipate in continuous improvement efforts to process efficiency and product qualitySupport other departments or production areas as neededPerform other duties to support business needsQualifications1+ years of CNC machine operation experience preferredProficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawing and blueprintsBasic knowledge of machining processes and materialsAbility to use precision measuring toolsGood math, mechanical aptitude, and problem-solving skillsPhysical ability to lift up to 50lbs and stand for long periodsStrong attention to detail and ability to work independentlyPersonal AttributesDependable, with a strong sense of urgency and pride in workmanshipTeam player with strong communication and collaboration skillsEagerness to learn and continuously improveFocused, safety-conscious, and able to work in a fast-paced environmentOther Skills & AbilitiesMust be reliable and punctual with consistent on-site attendanceComfortable working around machinery, tools, and in a shop environmentCompany OverviewPrecise Aerospace Manufacturing - precisemfg.comPrecise Aerospace Manufacturing Inc.
