Java/Node.js Developer Hybrid role at TX, CA, MO, NY

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Java/Node.js Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance applications. The ideal candidate will have strong backend development experience, proficiency in Java and Node.js, and a solid understanding of modern software architecture and cloud technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Application Development:

Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java (Spring Boot) and Node.js (Express/NestJS).

• API Development:

Build and integrate RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs for web and mobile applications.

• Database Management:

Work with relational (MySQL/PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases.

• Performance Optimization:

Ensure application scalability, security, and performance tuning.

• Cloud & Deployment:

Deploy applications on AWS/Azure/GCP and manage CI/CD pipelines.

• Collaboration:

Work closely with front-end developers, QA, and product teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

• Code Quality:

Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.

• Troubleshooting:

Debug and resolve technical issues across environments.

Required Skills

• Programming Languages:

Strong proficiency in Java and Node.js.

• Frameworks & Tools:

Spring Boot, Express.js, NestJS.

• Databases:

MySQL/PostgreSQL, MongoDB.

• Version Control:

Git, GitHub/GitLab.

• Cloud & DevOps:

AWS/Azure/GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins.

• Testing:

Unit testing frameworks (JUnit, Mocha/Chai).

• Other:

Understanding of microservices architecture and design patterns.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ).

Knowledge of containerization and orchestration.

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Exposure to front-end technologies (React/Angular) is a plus.
