Warehouse AssociateMadhappy is a Los Angeles-based clothing brand made for a community of optimists, born in 2017. Madhappy uses apparel, events, and experimental retail spaces – including its permanent flagship in West Hollywood – to explore a personal expression as a means to an improved state of mind. Its own seasonal stores – with past and present locations including New York City (Soho), Aspen, Miami, East Hampton, and Tokyo – are each designed to reflect their site, while still sharing the brand's DNA. The brand currently produces a selection of ever-evolving, evergreen classic styles, seasonally available collections and collaborations. Madhappy supports research and awareness in mental health through The Madhappy Foundation (a 501c(3) non-profit) and writes Local Optimist, a print magazine. Each to celebrate us as works-in-progress, and the personal and collective expression that is a part of that.We are looking to hire a full-time Warehouse Associate for Madhappy.In this position, you will be responsible for supporting day-to-day warehouse operations, including order fulfillment, inventory management, receiving, shipping, and returns processing. This role will be working within our Operations team and will report directly to the Warehouse Manager.You must be based in or willing to move to Los Angeles to be considered for this position.ResponsibilitiesSupport DTC ecommerce fulfillment and retail store transfer ordersAssist with inbound receiving, putaway, and inventory replenishmentVerify transfer orders and bulk shipments for accuracySupport cycle counts and inventory accuracy initiativesAssist with seasonal volume increases, launches, and sale eventsFollow warehouse SOPs, safety procedures, and quality control standardsPick, pack, and ship e-commerce, wholesale, retail, and internal orders accurately and efficientlyProcess customer returns, inspect merchandise, and restock inventory when appropriateOrganize, label, and maintain inventory within warehouse locationsAssist with cycle counts, inventory audits, and discrepancy resolutionSupport transfers between warehouse locations, retail stores, and eventsMaintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environmentAbout You1+ years of warehouse, fulfillment, logistics, or operations experience preferredExperience in ecommerce fulfillment, warehouse operations, or logistics preferredFamiliarity with Shopify, ShipHero, ShipStation, or similar systems preferredExperience in apparel, retail, or consumer goods environments is a plusAbility to work flexible hours during peak seasons and major launchesStrong attention to detail and commitment to accuracyAbility to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environmentAbility to lift and move up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periodsCharacteristicsStrong sense of ownership and accountabilityHighly organized with excellent attention to detailPositive attitude and willingness to support the team wherever neededAdaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced environmentMotivated to learn and continuously improve processesBenefits package available upon hire$18.50 - $24 per hourCompensation will be determined based on experience, skills, and qualifications.
