As a Backend Developer you will be responsible for providing expert technical support, maintenance, and enhancement of a client application within an Agile, sprint-based development environment. The ideal candidate leverages strong backend development expertise in Python, AWS, RESTful APIs, databases, and scalable data solutions to ensure application performance, availability, and integration with TypeScript-based front-end components.Due to the nature of our work as a federal consulting organization, employees may be expected to handle Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and must adhere to applicable safeguarding and compliance requirements.ResponsibilitiesProvide expert technical support to maintain the client applicationProvide support for development, enhancements, accessibility, integration, optimization, and maintenanceEnsure availability and correct operationsWork within a sprint-based development cycleUtilize knowledge of the AWS cloud environment, Python backend and TypeScript front-end
