As an employee for a federal contract, officers are paid a base wage of $16.20 per hour and ALSO make an ADDITIONAL $4.57 per hour that is disbursed through a 401(a) savings account or can be disbursed towards medical insurance.Excelsior Defense is one of the industry's top suppliers in the United States! (This is done by Excelsior Defense once selected for employment.)We look forward to meeting you!ResponsibilitiesProtect company's property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environmentObserve for signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbancesAct lawfully in direct defense of life or propertyApprehend criminals and evict violatorsTake accurate notes of unusual occurrencesReport in detail any suspicious incidentsPatrol randomly or regularly building and perimeterMonitor and control access at building entrances and vehicle gatesWatch alarm systems or video cameras and operate detecting/emergency equipmentPerform first aid or CPRSkillsProven work experience as a security guard or relevant positionValid Class D Security License active with the State of FloridaAbility to operate detecting systems and emergency equipmentExcellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocolsSurveillance skills and detail orientationIntegrity and professionalismHigh school degree
