QA Engineer

Job TitlePay Range: $47.00hr - $52.00hrRequirement/Must HaveStrong experience in Manual Testing.Expertise in API Testing using Postman and REST APIs.Automation testing experience with Selenium or Playwright.Knowledge of JSON, HTTP protocols, and API validation.Experience with defect management tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps.Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Healthcare quality analyst experience with Facets is required.Healthcare domain experience is required.ResponsibilitiesDevelop, review, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.Perform functional, integration, regression, system, and end-to-end testing.Conduct API testing using tools such as Postman and validate REST APIs.Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Selenium or Playwright.Identify, document, track, and verify software defects.Work closely with Developers, Business Analysts, Product Owners, and DevOps teams to ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle.Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.Support release validation and production deployment testing activities.Contribute to CI/CD testing strategies and continuous quality improvement initiatives.Ensure testing best practices and quality standards are followed across projects.Nice to HaveExperience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitHub Actions.Knowledge of SQL for backend/database validation.Basic programming skills in Java, Python, or JavaScript.Experience with test automation framework design and maintenance.Experience working in cloud-based environments.Exposure to performance and security testing.Relevant QA certifications such as ISTQB or equivalent.SkillsManual Testing.API Testing.Postman.REST APIs.Selenium.Playwright.JSON.HTTP Validation.JIRA.Azure DevOps.Agile.Scrum.Test Planning.Defect Tracking.Regression Testing.Facets.Healthcare Domain.Qualification And EducationBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.10+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance and Testing.Proven experience in manual and automation testing across web applications and APIs.
