Warehouse WorkerThe Warehouse Worker plays a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient operation of the warehouse by stacking, sorting, and labeling boxes, loading and unloading trucks, organizing products, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Additional duties may be assigned by the production lead or warehouse supervisor.Responsibilities:Stack, sort, and label boxes.Load and unload trucks efficiently.Organize products in the warehouse.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.Perform other duties as assigned by the production lead or warehouse supervisor.Essential Skills:General labor experience.Proficiency in loading/unloading, packaging, and inventory management.Experience in material handling and order picking.Ability to use RF scanners efficiently.Additional Skills & Qualifications:Previous experience in a small consumer packaging environment.Experience in production and/or manufacturing environments.Effective communication skills.Why Work Here?Join a dynamic team committed to maintaining a safe and organized work environment. Embrace a role that involves physical activity in a structured setting.Job Type & Location:This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Metairie, LA.Pay and Benefits:The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $23.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
