Field Engineer/Construction Inspector Full time position in the Field Engineer/Construction Inspector for the LIRR Expansion Project. The proposed responsibilities include:
Performing construction compliance inspections of RR track bridges, facilities and other structures
Liaise between contractors, subcontractors and designers on field details
Answering RFI's
Performing preliminary review of shop drawings and coordinating reviews with design teams
Updating AutoCAD drawings and preparing field sketches as needed
Performing design of temporary works and creating corresponding AutoCAD drawing submittals
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
Professional Engineering License in New York State (preferred)
5 years of field engineering and construction inspection experience
Knowledge of AutoCAD
