Senior Java Backend Architect - Payments Modernization

Job Description

Citi in Jersey City, NJ, is hiring a Senior Java Backend Developer to modernize CitiDirect’s Payment architecture. You will design, implement, and optimize Java backend services, architect microservices with Spring and Spring Cloud, and build event-driven systems with Apache Kafka.

Proficiency in MongoDB, Oracle, and secure REST APIs is required. The role demands 7+ years of Java experience, deep knowledge of reactive programming, and strong testing with JUnit/Mockito.
