About the Role:

The Warehouse Associate plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation of warehouse activities, contributing directly to the smooth flow of goods and materials within the supply chain. This position involves the accurate receiving, storage, and distribution of products, maintaining inventory integrity and supporting timely order fulfillment. The Warehouse Associate will operate material handling equipment, including forklifts, to move goods safely and efficiently throughout the facility. Attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols are essential to minimize errors and maintain a secure working environment. Ultimately, this role supports overall business operations by ensuring that products are handled with care and delivered on schedule to meet customer and company expectations.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Valid forklift operator certification or demonstrated experience operating forklifts safely.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Basic reading, writing, and math skills to accurately process orders and inventory data.
  • Authorization to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory software.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings or weekends if needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to load, unload, and transport materials safely within the warehouse.
  • Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders, and accurately record inventory data.
  • Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to company standards and customer specifications.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following established safety procedures and housekeeping practices.
  • Assist with regular inventory counts and report discrepancies to warehouse management for resolution.

Skills:

The required skill of forklift operation is essential for safely and efficiently moving materials throughout the warehouse, reducing manual labor and increasing productivity. Candidates will use this skill daily to load and unload shipments, organize inventory, and support order fulfillment processes. Preferred skills such as familiarity with warehouse management systems enhance the ability to track inventory accurately and streamline workflow.
