Job Description

Job Title: Data Collection Admin

Location: Indianapolis, IN

Duration: 8-Month Contract

Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Collection Admin to support the Sex and Violent Offender Registration and Victim Services Division of the State Department of Correction.

The selected candidate will assist with statutory responsibilities related to sex and violent offender registration , including researching court records, reviewing and interpreting legal documents, communicating with law enforcement agencies, and accurately entering information into designated systems.

Key Responsibilities Research and collect court documents and related records .

Review, analyze, and interpret information contained in legal and court documents.

Communicate effectively with local and state law enforcement agencies .

Enter and maintain accurate data in designated web portals and data systems .

Process information carefully while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy.

Support Division staff with research, data collection, and administrative activities.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree required ; Master’s degree preferred.

Equivalent relevant work experience may be considered.

Experience with data collection and data entry .

Knowledge or experience with criminal justice, court records, or legal documentation .

Familiarity with legal terminology and the ability to understand and process court documents .

Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.

Ability to review and process detailed information involving criminal offenses and sensitive subject matter .

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal teams and external agencies.

Ability to work independently while meeting established deadlines and quality standards.
