Warehouse Coordinator/Driver

The Davis H. Elliot Company, Inc. is seeking to hire a Warehouse Coordinator/Driver in the Memphis, TN area.

For over seven decades investor-owned utilities, municipalities, cooperatives, and others have entrusted their electrical construction and maintenance needs to Davis H. Elliot Company, Inc. (Elliot).

Elliot is a full-service electrical contractor specializing in overhead and underground distribution, transmission, substations, lighting, traffic signaling, utility locating and industrial/commercial services.

Job Description

The primary responsibility of the Warehouse Coordinator/Driver is to coordinate and oversee activities at our warehouse located in Memphis, TN.

• Oversee all shipping and receiving
• Maintain upkeep, cleanliness, and organization of warehouse and surrounding lot
• Receive, inventory and label all incoming material and supplies in a timely fashion
• Comfortable creating processes to improve efficiencies with regards to receiving, shipping and inventory management
• Ability to communicate and coordinate with various operations to plan & arrange pick up & deliveries
• Order, stock and manage an array of PPE
• Effectively communicate with internal and external customers

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL and medical card required
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening
• 2-3 warehouse management or similar experience preferred
• 1-2 years experience in the construction and/or electrical industry preferred
• 1-2 years of forklift experience preferred
