Building & Grounds Industrial Maintenance PartnerAs a Building & Grounds Industrial Maintenance Partner, you'll maintain H-E-B facilities and systems in a professional manner to ensure safety, efficiency, and reliability. You'll support our mission to be a world class maintenance management organization using the latest in technology, processes, and procedures.Key Responsibilities & Essential Functions:Maintenance / Troubleshooting / Repair & Replacement:Buildings: Performs basic office remodel skillsApplies knowledge of proper dock maintenance methodsRepairs / replaces basic plumbing fixturesReads site drawings, symbols to repair / replace doors, walls, various types of flooring, and other types of materials used for building repairMechanical: Repairs / installs power transmission equipmentRepairs / replaces various types of mechanical apparatus containing bearings, belts, drives, sheaves, and sprocketsPerforms skill-level appropriate preventive maintenance (PM)Hydraulics & Pneumatics: Reads hydraulic schematics to repair / identify hydraulic system componentsMakes flow control adjustments and pressure adjustments to hydraulic / pneumatic equipmentPerforms skill-level appropriate PM on hydraulic and pneumatic systemsFire Systems: Applies knowledge of wet systemsElectrical: Troubleshoots / repairs basic 120/277 VAC circuits for lighting and equipmentAdheres to safe practices when working with electrical equipmentThe responsibilities and essential functions outlined above describe the general nature and level of work assigned to this position. Employees may be required to perform other job-related tasks as requested by their supervisor, subject to reasonable accommodations.Qualifications & Key Requirements:Work Experience: 2+ years of experience in mechanical maintenance, electrical maintenance, welding, hydraulic / pneumatic systems, or construction trades - RequiredKnowledge/Skills/Abilities: Working knowledge / understanding of the principles of 3-phase AC voltage sources (480 VAC), the functions and use of amp meters and multimeters, and Ohm's law - RequiredWorking knowledge of different types of sprockets, bearings, v-belts, drive belts, and sheaves - RequiredStrong organization and time-management skills - RequiredStrong written / verbal communication and skills - RequiredAbility to manage multiple priorities and shift focus between tasks; attention to detail - RequiredInitiative - RequiredEducation: HS Diploma or GED - RequiredLicenses/Certifications:Physical Demands & Working Conditions:Work while standing, sitting, stooping, walking, bending, with hands over head, and in prone positionClimb; work from a ladder and other elevated work platforms (manlift, scissor lift, catwalk, silo)Lift and carry 75 lbsWork in extreme temperatures ranging from -20 to 130 degreesThe work environment characteristics described here are representative of those a Partner encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
