Project Manager TechOps Finance

The TechOps Finance team is seeking an innovative and results-driven individual for the Project Manager TechOps Finance role. This position will be supporting Delta Air Lines Engine Maintenance operation and will serve as a key business partner to operations leadership, driving cost efficiency, process improvement, and financial performance. The successful candidate will have a continuous improvement mindset and thrives in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.

Key responsibilities for this position include:

  • Ownership of Engine Product Line P&Ls, creating insightful reporting, owning weekly forecast process, developing long-range financial outlook, and supporting the annual operating plan process
  • Streamline and automate financial processes and improving business partner visibility to financial performance
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis and identify business challenges and opportunities
  • Support the monthly financial close and ensure proper internal controls
  • Drive engagement through spending significant time on the shop floor to observe processes, understand value streams, and learn the actual flow of parts
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams to align financial goals with operational strategies
  • Partner with Product Line owners to gain an in-depth understanding of supplier contracts
