Full-Stack Software Engineer

The Role Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Build and ship AI-driven software features from early prototype through production, working across backend services and user-facing applications. Own the design of the systems that let automated workflows run reliably, and partner with product and domain experts to turn real-world needs into dependable software.

What You'll Do Build and evolve a software platform that runs automated, AI-driven workflows, including state handling, tool integration, orchestration, permissions and human review steps.

Prototype new product experiences quickly and turn the strongest ones into production-quality software.

Create test suites , regression checks and release criteria that gauge quality, reliability, safety, speed and cost.

Add monitoring and tracing across model behavior, errors and end-to-end workflow results so issues are easier to debug and fix.

Work closely with domain experts , product leaders and fellow engineers to turn real workflows into trustworthy software.

What We're Looking For 3+ years of software engineering experience.

Experience running LLM-based systems in production, including tool calling, orchestration and context handling.

Experience designing and building a product end to end.

Background in healthcare or another highly regulated domain.

Strong proficiency in Python and TypeScript across backend and front-end work.

Hands-on practice measuring the quality of AI model output and keeping it stable over time, through automated testing or runtime monitoring.

Ability to explain technical tradeoffs clearly to non-technical colleagues.

Ability to work hybrid from the New York office.

Bonus Points Prior work on internal frameworks that coordinate or run automated software tasks.
