You will lead complex data engineering efforts across mainframe, data warehouse, data lake, and cloud environments while serving as a trusted technical adviser.What You Will DoBuild, monitor, and enhance pipelines that ingest data from core enterprise systemsPrepare, transform, govern, and validate data for reporting, analytics, and downstream modelsReverse engineer legacy SQL and mainframe processes and modernize them using Python notebooks, Databricks, or similar cloud toolsOwn complex enterprise projects and data-domain initiatives from design through productionDevelop standards, best practices, and workflows that improve data quality and deliveryTroubleshoot complex data issues and provide advanced technical analysisMentor developers and collaborate with Actuarial, Life, Annuity, Pension Risk Transfer, and Enterprise Data Analytics teamsWhat You BringSix + years of relevant data engineering or business intelligence experienceA bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and professional credentialsExpert-level SQL programming skillsHands-on experience with Python or another enterprise scripting or object-oriented languageExperience with data ingestion, integration, ETL, and the software development lifecycleAbility to reverse engineer existing code and translate legacy processes into modern solutionsStrong troubleshooting, analytical, collaboration, and technical mentoring skillsPreferred ExperienceAzure or AWS cloud engineering experienceExperience with Databricks, Snowflake, Azure Data Factory, or comparable platformsKnowledge of dimensional modeling, data architecture, and full-stack data deliveryMainframe or z/OS experience, including JCL, Zeke, or navigating mainframe applicationsExperience in insurance or financial servicesReady to modernize enterprise data at scale?
