Job Description

Principal Software EngineerInsight Global is seeking a Principal Software Engineer for a client in Houston, TX. This is a hands-on technical leadership role responsible for designing, building, testing, deploying, and supporting modern software solutions from concept through production. This individual will develop full-stack applications and cloud-native services, drive architecture and engineering best practices, leverage AI-assisted development tools, and ensure applications are secure, scalable, and reliable. The role also includes mentoring engineers, improving delivery standards, and taking ownership of production systems and their performance. This position is looking to pay $90-100/hr.
