MANTECH seeks a motivated, career- and customer-oriented Operations Manager to join our team in Washington, D.C. This is an onsite position.

In this role, you will support high-visibility Navy programs by providing expert technical and business analysis. You will play a key role in project planning, reporting, and coordination while supporting process improvements across teams. This role may involve mentoring junior teammates and leading collaborative work groups.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Serve as a key contributor in complex project environments, leveraging specialized knowledge to guide organizational success.

Work on advanced, complex technical projects or business issues requiring state-of-the-art technical or industry knowledge.

Collect data and prepare organization-wide project status reports and analysis.

Participate in individual projects to provide technical or business assessments, research, and problem resolution.

Assist project teammates with guidance for documentation, training, and best practices.

Coordinate efforts to optimize cross-project resources.

Participate in the financial and schedule assessment of completed projects and the development of future project roadmaps.

Minimum Qualifications:

4+ years’ administrative and operations experience

Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field OR a high school diploma and 4 additional years of experience

Proven experience supporting high-visibility projects and project planning.

Demonstrated ability to collect, analyze, and report organization-wide project data.

Experience performing technical or business assessments, research, and problem resolution.

Track record of guiding project teams on documentation, training, and operational best practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with the US Navy, including active duty, government civilian, or support contractor roles.

Experience working directly with technical authorities (e.g., NAVSEA 05).

Experience working with US Navy Program Managers in an analyst role.

Clearance Requirements:

Must be a U.S. citizen and hold an active or current Secret clearance.

Physical Requirements:

The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.

Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers via email, phone, or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.

The projected compensation range for this position is $79,700.00-$132,500.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
