We need someone who can collaborate with clients to understand detailed requirements and design complete user experiences that meet client needs and vision. In the role of Software Application Engineer II, you will be responsible for developing innovative business solutions by creating new applications, modifying existing applications, and providing postproduction support.

About The Position

Develop REST API backend for an interactive website using .NET technology.

Prioritize and execute tasks throughout approved software development life cycle.

Investigates and resolves increasingly complex problems including providing support for production systems in a timely manner.

Determines how existing applications, systems, databases, interfaces, and/or hardware can interact to meet new and emerging enterprise initiatives.

Analyzes, designs, codes, debugs, integrations, and tests increasingly complex software application solutions for systems.

Consults and/or participate in the requirements, design, and coding walkthroughs to ensure the development of quality solutions.

Creates and maintains design documentation.

Proactively identifies problems and presents/develops solutions.

Tests are increasingly complex program changes thoroughly to ensure accuracy.

Prepares and/or generates test data.

Resolves technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation.

Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to develop and implement process improvements and controls to the foundations work streams to standardize processes, improve quality, and reduce risk.

Support the senior leadership in business planning, analysis, and reporting in support of Signature's programmatic goals and complex aspects of projects.

Minimum Requirements:

2+ years of Full Stack Development in various languages like .NET 10, EF Core ORM, C#, JS React,

2+ years in database structures, query design, MS SQL Server, stored procedure development, views

2+ years of setting up communication technologies related to database Rest API services.

2+ years of healthcare communication technologies such as HL7, FIHR, and EDI formats

2+ years of configuration and management of DVCS platforms, GIT, Bitbucket

2+ years' experience in secure coding methodology and best practices

2+ years' experience software containerization using tools such as Kubernetes and Docker

Experience in OAuth Authorization/Authentication Frameworks

Background experience in web development in a medical payor and provider application

Ability to collaborate with clients to understand detailed requirements and design complete user experiences that meet client needs and vision.

In depth knowledge of automated code review technologies preferred, Copilot, Claude, or Cursor

Analytical trouble shooting/complex problem solving and research skills.

Excellent communication skills

Ability to effectively interact and collaborate with all levels of co-workers, including assistants, staff, senior management, and Trustees.

High-level people skills, collaborator, diplomacy, ability to negotiate and build consensus.

Sound judgment, integrity, and respect for confidentiality are absolute requirements.

All work on all positions at Signature Performance must be completed in the continental United States, Alaska, or Hawaii.

Work Schedule Monday - Friday 8:00a - 5:00p Central Time Compensation Range $90,000 - $125,000/Annually Position Type Full Time
