Warehouse Associate with LOTHThe warehouse associate is a role within the LOTH warehouse that is responsible for the shipping and receiving of furniture and related products; while assisting in other areas of the warehouse such as Asset Management.ResponsibilitiesShipping & Receiving:Pulling Product to ShipInspect product for quality control purposesEnsure product is properly packaged to prevent damageShip product to receiving areaProcess Shipping and Receiving with proper paperworkUnload product from carriersProperly receive and inspect all productNote damages and write up notificationsPlace items in warehouse locations for storageFollow vendor packaging checklist papers.Clean and Organize WarehousePut up stock as instructedSweep area and dispose of trashConsolidate productAsset Management:Assists with customer inventoryResponds to client inquiries on product inventoryAssists with Asset and/or inventory reportingOther Responsibilities:Occasionally build furniturePut product up in racksPull needed product from racksConsolidate areaAssist in office setup for meetings and housekeeping as needed.Follow shut down and opening security procedures.Physical RequirementsAbility to stand and walk for long periods (majority of the shift)Ability to carry and transport heavy equipment with or without team membersAbility to continually lift heavy items ranging in weight often up to 100lbs.Ability to work in safe manner in a construction environmentJob RequirementsHigh School Diploma/GEDOne year minimum experience in Warehouse workExperience in the office furniture industry (preferred)Power tool experience preferredComputer Skills - Email, Warehouse Management SystemReliable transportation to and from work.Ability to react to problems and create solutions; seeking support as neededPositive demeanor with ability to explain problems and solutions to customers, contractors and leadershipAbility to work with minimal supervisionPersonal character in accordance with company's core values and beliefs. Required to pass a drug and background check.
