Job Description

As a Warehouse Associate at KSI Auto Parts, you will be responsible for efficiently loading, unloading, receiving, picking, packing, staging, and processing products and customer orders within our distribution center. This role supports both traditional warehouse operations and e-commerce fulfillment, ensuring inventory and customer orders are handled accurately, safely, and on time.

The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, safety-conscious, comfortable using basic computer systems, and able to maintain productivity and accuracy in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities:

• Load, unload, pick, put away, consolidate, stack, and stage products and materials using a cherry picker, forklift, pallet jack, or other warehouse equipment.
• Process warehouse deliveries, check inbound shipments, and validate chain-of-custody and bills of lading.
• Select and pick orders based on corresponding pick tickets, labels, or e-commerce orders.
• Locate, verify, and prepare the correct merchandise, confirming part numbers, quantities, and product condition before packing or shipment.
• Process e-commerce orders accurately and efficiently using company computer systems.
• Measure packages using a measuring tape and weigh packages using shipping scales.
• Accurately enter package dimensions, weight, and other required shipping information into company systems.
• Select appropriate boxes and packing materials based on the size, weight, and characteristics of the merchandise.
• Pack and secure merchandise properly to prevent movement, damage, or loss during transportation.
• Print, verify, and apply shipping labels, ensuring each label corresponds to the correct order and package.
• Stage completed orders in the appropriate shipping, route, or carrier area.
• Participate in physical inventories, cycle counting, inventory validation, and data entry.
• Identify and report incorrect parts, damaged merchandise, inventory discrepancies, or shipping issues.
• Maintain established productivity, accuracy, and quality standards.
• Operate cherry pickers, forklifts, pallet jacks, shipping equipment, and other warehouse equipment in accordance with safety standards.
• Assist with warehouse maintenance tasks, including sweeping floors, organizing work areas, and properly storing equipment.
• Follow work instructions, company procedures, and material‑handling best practices to safely and accurately complete assignments.
• Push, pull, reach, bend, lift, and handle products weighing up to 75 lbs.
• Stand, walk, and lift for extended periods.
• Perform other warehouse, shipping, receiving, inventory, or e-commerce duties as assigned based on operational needs.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of warehouse, distribution, shipping, fulfillment, or e-commerce experience preferred but not required.
• Experience operating a cherry picker, forklift, pallet jack, or other warehouse equipment preferred. .
• Basic computer skills and ability to navigate company systems and standard computer applications.
• Ability to learn new software, processes, equipment, and procedures quickly.
• Ability to accurately use a measuring tape and shipping scale.
• Basic math, reading, and writing skills.
• Ability to read and understand safety rules, operating instructions, shipping documents, and procedures.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work efficiently while meeting established productivity, accuracy, and quality expectations.
• Ability to identify and communicate product, inventory, or shipping discrepancies.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong sense of responsibility and accountability for completed work.
• Ability to maintain professionalism and composure under changing or demanding circumstances.
• Capable of lifting up to 75 lbs and standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting for extended periods.
• Ability to adjust working hours according to business and operational demands.
