Forklift Operator will be working to make sure that machine operators have the materials they need to produce our world class batteries as well and moving finishing product onto and off trucks in the shipping area.Areas of Focus:Ensure machine operator have required materials always.Meet suppliers to receive and verify materials meet order quantity.Responsibilities:Comply with all safety requirements and proper use of (PPE) Personal Protective EquipmentUnderstand and practice Trojan Battery Quality PoliciesEnsure machine operator have required materials alwaysMeet suppliers to receive and verify materials meet order quantityRemove scrap and barrels of hazardous recyclable waste to reclamation area and prepare paperworkEnsure that re-orders are timely, notify supervisor of shortagesMove DUF batteries from racks to formationLabel hazardous waste and move into satellite areaEnsure labeling and weight restrictions are metUnderstand and follow work InstructionsFollow and maintain good housekeeping and hygiene practicesResponsible individual with strong work ethicLoad and unloading of batteries, materials and supplies onto and off trucks, in and out of shipping areas, within warehouse, assembly and production areasAvailable for various shifts, and overtimeBasic Qualifications:High School Diploma, GED, or greaterRead, write, and speak basic EnglishBasic math proficiency (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)Forklift Driver CertificateUnderstand specifications and labels associated with hazardous materialMinimum six months' experience in production, construction, warehouse, or similar work environmentPreferred Qualifications:Some experience in an assembly/ production environmentBilingual in SpanishIf you like wild growth and working with happy, enthusiastic over-achievers, you'll enjoy your career with us!
