The role supports physicians, performs routine and specialized nursing procedures, monitors patient conditions, and educates patients on preventive health measures. Adheres to safety, infection control, and quality standards, ensuring a safe and therapeutic environment. Responsibilities include documenting patient data, assisting with examinations and procedures, managing supplies, and training new staff. The role emphasizes excellent service, cultural sensitivity, and compliance with legal and organizational guidelines.

Qualifications & Skills Graduation from an accredited Practical Nursing program and valid Colorado LPN license.

High School Diploma or GED required.

Demonstrated customer service skills; IV therapy certification may be required.

Preferred: BLS certification, experience with diverse patient populations, and IV therapy certification.

Key Duties Support patient care activities within scope of practice.

Administer medications and treatments, monitor patient status, and respond to emergencies.

Educate patients on health management and post-care instructions.

Assist physicians during exams and procedures.

Maintain accurate medical records and manage supplies.

Contribute to a safe, effective, and culturally sensitive healthcare environment.
