Job Description

Subject: Solutions Architect Location: NYC, NY Duration: Fulltime Permanent Job

Responsibilities

Provide expert technical guidance and leadership to Client IMC customers.

Ensure successful execution of client professional services activities such as high‑level architecture design, assisted development and design reviews, as well as go‑live performance tuning and enterprise deployment.

Maintain deep hands‑on technical knowledge of Client XAP and In‑Memory Computing application portfolio and design/architecture patterns.

Support pre‑ and post‑sales field engineering teams through workshops, implementations, and production deployments.

Collaborate with sales, product management, and customers to become the trusted client advisor.

Qualifications

Specialization in Java back‑end enterprise development is a MUST for this role.

Java Enterprise Development. Any Big Data is a huge advantage.

6+ years experience in software development and architecture, including languages, systems and frameworks such as Spring/Java, RESTful Services, RDBMS, Messaging (JMS, RabbitMQ/AMQP), NoSQL, Transactions, and Multithreaded programming.

Solid understanding of fundamental design and architecture patterns such as n‑tier, Publish/Subscribe, REST, MVC, Data Access (OR/M, DAO's, etc).

4+ years experience configuring enterprise application platforms and databases, example: Tomcat, JBoss, TIBCO, WebLogic, WebSphere, Oracle, MySQL, Oracle.

Solid understanding of Linux operating system fundamentals.

Understanding of common source control and management tools (Maven, Ant, GitHub, Subversion).
