Salary Range: $26.00 To $30.00 Hourly

Location: Tumwater, WA
Compensation:$26.00/hr - $35.00/hr (Depends on Experience)

Precision Abatement, LLC is looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Asbestos Technician to support our growing mitigation and environmental team. If you’re hands-on, safety-focused, and looking to build a long-term career with a top-tier restoration company, we want to talk to you.

  • Perform asbestos removal and general abatement activities under the direction of an Asbestos Supervisor.
  • Assist with setting up and maintaining regulated work areas, containments, and decontamination systems.
  • Use approved wet methods, HEPA equipment, negative-air machines, hand tools, and other abatement equipment.
  • Safely remove and handle asbestos-containing materials and waste.
  • Follow required personal and equipment decontamination procedures.
  • Properly inspect, wear, and maintain assigned personal protective equipment and respiratory protection.
  • Keep job sites, tools, vehicles, and equipment clean and organized.
  • Protect customer property and maintain a professional presence at every job site.
  • Participate in daily safety meetings and complete required job documentation.
  • Follow company procedures and all applicable OSHA, EPA, Washington State L&I, and DOSH requirements.
  • Perform other abatement, demolition, cleanup, and field duties as assigned.
  • Current medical clearance and respirator fit test, or ability to obtain and maintain both.
  • Active Washington State driver’s license.
  • Ability to meet the requirements necessary to be added to the company’s motor vehicle insurance policy.
  • Ability to pass a background check in accordance with applicable law.
  • Dependable attendance and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to understand and follow written and verbal safety instructions.
  • OSHA and other environmental or construction certifications

Full‑time position starting at 7:30 a.m. each day

Work performed at residential and commercial job sites across the region

Fast‑paced, hands‑on field environment

Job sites may include hot, humid, confined, or otherwise challenging spaces

Regular use of protective gear, respirators, and regulated work areas

Frequent teamwork and communication with supervisors and crew members

Occasional overtime, weekend work, or adjusted schedules based on project needs
