EXAMPLES OF PROFESSIONAL WORK: Gathers data, assists in identifying and analyzing current operational processes and systems. Consults with users to map current operating procedures and clarify application objectives. Establishes decision matrix and procedures for system job flow, database restoration. Assists in coordinating basic workarounds and recoveries. Participates in installing and testing hardware and software and evaluating suitability and compatibility. Assists in coordinating the programs, products, job flows, implementation of subsystems and databases. Assists in monitoring production systems/databases/initiates aversion, correction and restoration actions. Participates in monitoring the accuracy, completeness, clarity, accessibility and timeliness of project and user documentation. Assists in resolving operating problems, providing technical assistance and training to users in application enhancements and upgrades. Supports the promulgation of established technical and procedural standards. Assists in disaster recovery testing. Solves routine and recurring problems and identifies and suggests solutions to more complex problems. Participates in ongoing training to continuously upgrade technical knowledge and skills. Performs other job-related tasks as assigned.
