Senior Software Engineer

Senior Software Engineer As part of the R&D organization, you will be joining the team that is building our state of the art SaaS Platform that enables security and development teams to build secure, high-quality software faster. You would collaborate with software engineers, architects, product managers and UX designers throughout feature development lifecycle with hands-on contribution to design, development, testing and deployment.

Key Qualifications:

6+ years of full-stack software development experience with expertise in building micro-services and customer facing APIs

Full-stack expertise and experience in Java technologies eco-system (spring, JPA, JMS...) and one of JavaScript technologies (React, Angular, Ember)

Mastery in database technologies including RDBMS and NoSQL databases (Postgres / MySQL / Cassandra) and experience writing high performing queries

Experienced with test driven development approach with high standards of code quality, produces code that's high quality, testable, reliable, performs at scale

2+ years of experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems

Must have proven, real-world experience with implementing architectural patterns and operational best practices with microservices

Expertise in algorithm design, problem-solving, complexity analysis, secure coding best practices and remediation

Experience and skills using cloud & container technologies

In-depth knowledge of object-oriented concepts and systems design patterns

BS/MS in Computer Science/Engineering, or equivalent experience

Preferred Experience:

Design, develop and test end to end product features working across full-stack including APIs, micro-services and interactive user interfaces

Advocate for change in quality, durability, reliability, and technical debt reduction, working directly with Product Managers, Engineering Managers, and architects

Revitalize services and architectures which have outlasted their original implementations, through refactoring, migration, and scale-ready, distributed architectural design

Own functionality and scalability features by taking responsibility from inception to deployment and customer integration
