Remote Senior DevOps Engineer / DevSecOps ArchitectRequired Skills & Experience: 7+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or DevSecOps, including both architectural design and hands-on implementation responsibilities. Expert-level experience with Azure DevOps and Azure Pipelines, including CI/CD design, build and release automation, multi-stage deployments, approvals, policy enforcement, and pipeline optimization. Advanced Terraform experience developing enterprise-scale Infrastructure-as-Code solutions, reusable modules, cloud governance frameworks, and automated Azure infrastructure provisioning. Proven experience architecting and implementing DevSecOps practices, including integrating security scanning, vulnerability management, code quality, and compliance tools such as Checkmarx, SonarQube, MSDO, or similar platforms into CI/CD workflows. Strong understanding of Azure cloud architecture, including landing zones, cloud networking, identity and access management, governance, monitoring, security, and migration best practices. Demonstrated ability to establish DevOps operating models and best practices from the ground up, including repository strategy, Git workflows, branching standards, automation frameworks, team enablement, and cross-functional collaboration with engineering, security, infrastructure, data, and integration teams.Job Description: Our client is seeking a Remote Senior DevOps Engineer / DevSecOps Architect to play a critical role in designing and implementing the foundation of its enterprise cloud and DevSecOps transformation. As the organization continues to experience significant growth and embarks on its migration journey to Microsoft Azure, this individual will partner closely with Cloud Engineering, Infrastructure, Security, and Application Development leadership to define the strategic roadmap, architecture, standards, and automation practices that will enable scalable cloud adoption. Acting as both an architect and hands-on engineer, this person will lead the design and implementation of Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines, establish DevSecOps best practices across multiple technology towers, and drive adoption of automated deployment, security scanning, governance, and Infrastructure-as-Code solutions. The role will own the development of enterprise automation frameworks utilizing Terraform, support Azure landing zone architecture and cloud governance initiatives, and integrate security tools such as Checkmarx, SonarQube, MSDO, and other vulnerability scanning platforms into deployment workflows. In addition to designing enterprise-wide DevOps standards and operating models, this individual will remain deeply technical by building pipelines, automating cloud infrastructure, creating reusable Terraform modules, managing source control strategies, and supporting containerized workloads.
