Our team designs, develops and maintains massively scaling technology solutions brought to life with innovative architectures, data analytics, and digital solutions.Job Overview and ResponsibilitiesThe Senior Software Developer will be responsible for the development of critical applications, while working with a team of developers. This role will design, develop, document, test and debug new and existing applications. Additionally, this role will build these applications with a focus on delivering cloud-based solutions. The individual will use groundbreaking technologies and enterprise grade integration software daily and will be relied upon to help take the team to the next level from a technological standpoint.Actively participates in the full development life cycle, including requirements analysis and design, using Agile methodologiesServe as a technical expert on development projects.Creates the application framework, reusable components, and coding guidelines.Good knowledge of deployment practices, pipelines, and related technologies.Support, maintain, and document software functionalityIdentify and evaluate new technologies for implementationAnalyze code to find causes of errors and revise programs as neededManages and participates in software design meetings and analyzes user needs to determine technical requirementsCollaborate & lead tech teams consisting of employees & vendor company contractors in planning and execution, serving as a technology leaderCollaborate with end user to prototype, refine, test, and debug programs to meet needsQualificationsWhat's needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Management Information Systems, or related field3+ years of experience in design, development, documenting, testing, and debugging of new and existing software systems and/or applications for market sale or large-scale proprietary software for internal use in an agile environmentExperience implementing AWS technologies (Lambda, Step Functions, CloudWatch, CloudFront, Cognito, Route53, DynamoDB, ECS, EC2, S3, RDS, API Gateway)Experience with Cloud Automation Development Tool such as Git, Python/Bash/PowerShell ScriptingHands-on development and proficient excellence in backend API development using Node.js, Java, and Python (nice to have)Strong knowledge of Spring framework, SQL, NoSQL, and Design Patterns, messaging platforms like IBM MQ, Solace, Kafka, JMS, etc., APM observability toolsExcellent understanding of Object-Oriented systems design and Application DevelopmentProactive, self-directed approach and strong communication skills are essential to successMust be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorshipSuccessful completion of the interview is required to meet the job qualificationReliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the positionWhat will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):Airlines industry experience is a plusThe base pay range for this role is $112,480.00 to $146,540.00. The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, factors such as experience, education, and skills.
