Job Description

Coordinates material and logistics activities for assigned plants to ensure the availability of materials and smooth operations. Provides leadership and direction to the warehouse team in support of shipping, stockroom, and logistics processes. Directly responsible for inventory control, accuracy, and reporting across multiple locations.

Maintains warehouse and materials operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing operational programs, policies, procedures, and personnel standards. Plans, coordinates, and fosters effective communication and collaboration between warehouse/logistics and production functions to meet deadlines and achieve sales targets.

Supports cost reduction initiatives and continuous process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and overall cost-effectiveness.

Please note that, due to ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) requirements, this position is limited to U.S. persons, defined as U.S. citizens or lawful permanent residents (green card holders).

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field required.
  • 3–5 years of proven leadership experience in a manufacturing environment required.
  • 3–5 years of direct responsibility for warehouse and shipping operations required.
  • Proven knowledge of import/export processes and regulations between Mexico and the United States required.
  • Practical working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles (e.g., 5S, Just-in-Time (JIT), Kanban/pull systems).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
  • Strong mathematical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • High attention to detail with a strong commitment to accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general Windows-based systems required.
  • Experience with MRP/ERP systems required.
  • Inventory management system experience preferred.
