IT/Database Developer

Database DeveloperPay Range: $50.09hr - $53.94hrRequirement/Must Have:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Proven experience as a Database Developer with strong Oracle PL/SQL development skills.Hands-on experience with Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) for ETL development.Proficiency in creating and managing Excel macros.Strong debugging and code troubleshooting skills.Ability to translate complex business requirements into effective technical solutions.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Responsibilities:Develop, optimize, and maintain PL/SQL code to support business applications.Design and implement ETL processes using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI).Create and maintain Excel macros to support data manipulation and reporting needs.Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve code issues efficiently to ensure system reliability.Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and translate business requirements into technical specifications.Develop scalable and robust database solutions that integrate MES and financial systems.Work with BI tools such as Oracle Analytics Cloud, Power BI, and/or Tableau to support data visualization and reporting needs.Ensure data integrity, security, and performance within database applications.Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation to maintain high-quality standards.Perform analysis of business models, logical specifications and/or user requirements to design solutions.Manage application development as well as the application environment.Lead tool evaluation efforts, including the definition of evaluation criteria and identification of tools.Interact with and manage product vendors/suppliers.Nice to Have:Experience working with BI tools such as Oracle Analytics Cloud, Power BI, and/or Tableau.Experience integrating Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and Financial Systems.Experience with Oracle database administration, developing and performance tuning SQL queries.Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.Knowledge of additional ETL tools or programming languages.Skills:Oracle PL/SQL.Oracle Data Integrator (ODI).ETL Development.Excel Macros.Oracle Analytics Cloud.Power BI.Tableau.Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).Financial Systems Integration.Mainframe.Mini and Micro platforms.Qualification And Education:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Experience in multiple system environments.Experience in designing, developing, and testing applications.
