2ND ENGINEER FOR CARNIVAL CRUISE LINE ISMIRA Agency actively recruiting for position 2ND ENGINEER for Carnival Cruise Line! A Second Engineer consistently monitors, controls, and troubleshoots all engine machinery equipment while being on watch. Thus, overseeing the safe operation of all Engine machinery in accordance with the Policy, Procedures, and Safe Working Practices, promoting a strong safety culture, and adhering to all environmental policies and procedures at all times.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING? Compliance with Engine Room Resource Management standards of the Company

Compliance with Environmental/Health and Safety Policies and procedures, MARPOL and SOLAS Policies

Compliance with all relevant flag states and classes as well as other applicable regulations

Carry out the Engine watch with particular attention to:

Main Engines functions and operation

Auxiliary Engines functions and operation (where applicable)

Power generation function and operations

Operation of all M/E and A/E ancillary equipment (where applicable)

Conditions of bilges and bilges tanks,

Piping integrity

Responsible for fulfilling and carrying out Environmental Compliance Plan

REQUERMENTS Minimum 21 years old

To apply for this role, you must hold an IMO Certificate, Regulation III/2, 2nd Engineer

3+ years of experience working as a watchkeeper

Valid STCW certificates, as required for the position

Experience working within a cruise ship environment is a plus

2nd Engineer experience or higher is a plus
